WIP Wednesday

Hi there, beautiful morning here if a bit chilly after last week’s heat but food shopping to be done later so will appreciate the cool when I am dragging the shopping bags home! Meantime I thought I would just drop by and share what I have been working on so far this week.

I had been printing photos from last summer and ‘had’ to treat myself to P13’s gorgeous new Secret Garden 12 x12 pad (https://snazzysstudio.online/shop/p/p13-12x12-paper-pad-secret-garden ) as the colours worked so well with them. So, fussy cutting of cut aparts done, photos matted and a layout idea nearly completed with papers sorted and ideas germinating for at least two more, even using up some of my precious Bramble Fox acrylics. I almost always hide my journaling on my layouts as I am not very keen on my handwriting, so having created a fold out journaling card under the main photo on the first one, I am now fiddling with some of the scraps to see if I can come up with different ideas to hide my handwriting on the others.

I am also working on some card making samples for slimline cards -DL to us old hands- using stencils and dies, some clean and simple cards with interesting folds, slides, flips etc and had dragged out my (first) lockdown journal to see if I could remember what I used to so enjoy about this hobby of ours. I have also been playing with Ranger’s Distress Embossing Glazes, making some samples of ideas illustrating different ways to use them. Photos and possibly videos next week.

What are you working on this week?

Thank you for stopping by, back Friday with whatever I have managed to finish xx
